It's not really about that, we just don't understand how people try to back up incest and making it seem like they think it's ok to ship siblings. If you don't like incest in real life, then what makes you read it in fiction? This manga represents incest relationships that can happen in real life. Our problem here is that people deny the fact that it's wrong, and just because some certain things have genres, doesn't make it any less wrong to like or enjoy reading it. This isn't shota, but did you notice something? Shota has its own genre, and it involves kids and minors having sex, which is illegal. But people use "it's fiction" as an excuse. This isn't ok, and it shouldn't be ignored. Things like adults having sexual intercourse with children do happen in real life, so do incest relationships. So making an excuse such as "it's fiction" will make people think less about it.

Exploring taboo fantasies in fiction, whether it's about violence, cannibalism, incest, rape, murder etc is normal. Learning about and enjoying things in fiction that you wouldn't in reality is normal. We've been doing it since we could tell stories. I think Darth Vader is cool, doesn't mean I support mass murder or imperialism. If you think it's wrong to read stories about certain things, that's perfectly fine, but art and artists have no obligation to be moral.

I have never once said that incest is not morally wrong nor is it not uncomfortable and improper. Nor have I support shota and lolicons. You are right, things like this happens in real life and it's disgusting that it does. Nobody is mistaking fiction for real life so I don’t know what you’re talking about. All I’m saying is that if you’re allowed to like it, I’m allow to *not* like it and leave my thoughts on it in the comments. It’s not being a “karen” it’s critiquing what I read.
