He litterly sold a painting gifted to him by an unknown man that completely changed his son (to worse as far as he knew) in exchange for money he wanted to use to buy medicine for his wife. Except part he broke his promise he did nothing that bad. It's like parent taking away a phone because you spend all night on it or Jasmine selling the genie lamp cause she didn't know it's true price.
I don't really blame him since he didn't know the painting was what helped the child live past his twenties...
I just started reading this today and I'm on chapter 5, and I just wanna say that the father really broke the trust I have for him
