Ah, we have now heard from the Patriarchal Lobby. The woman was such a filthy sinner for getting pregnant. Why, if she was poor as well, we could all stone her to death and feel righteous and holy about our actions. I'll bet the magnificent specimen of manhood who showed her for the scum she is (thereby doing society a favour) would help us find the stones. The child? No need to feel pity, it's the 2nd generation, so it's even more guilty than the 3rd or 4th generation. We all know that she was unhappy and vulnerable only to tempt that poor, put upon good mother's boy into a sin he fought hard not to commit. Why, she's no better than a demon from hell.
