It's to avoid the complexity that appears of they had loved ones. Like in Kill the villainess, her aim is to go home cuz she has people she cares for. If the characters don't have ppl the liked, they have no reason to go home, and thus they will not be overly depressed or anxious about everything. I've only seen a handful (completed) stories deal with it and only one or two didn't cope out in the end.
This is a cute manhwa but the reincarnated trope is starting to get overused, this story is very interesting and i really like how they include the parents but the “no one loved me in my old world” backstory is getting very repetitive and just seems like a quick way to give a sad backstory.
