why is it that when the art is good, people assume that it's a great manga?

for one thing i hate ugly art (╬￣皿￣)凸 however if its ridiculously hilarious thats another thing(づ￣ ³￣)づ

Well for some, if the art ain't up to par then the whole manga goes down the drain, cuz they can't concentrate on the story if the artwork is "bad" I'm guessing. So if the art is A+ then it makes the whole reading experience more enjoyable and if it's paired with a great storyline then it's a damn good manga (☆▽☆)
