wouldn't it be different because the justice system is different in other countries though? blm is an international movement because people of color face discrimination anywhere, but with acab, isn't it because the american police have continuously discriminated against poc? I could be wrong, but that was just my assumption
my bad, acab is a global issue as well, just that the situation varies slightly in different countries. i retract my statement
no problem, i'd say the main problem in a lot of countries is that cops help those in power, i.e. politicians, rich people, etc. instead of actually enforcing the law and helping citizens. that's why acab resonates with everyone and people get upset when cops are depicted as inherently heroic.
