100% agree with you! There were really poignant themes that could've been fleshed out in this work, but it never happened... It made everything feel...shallow even in climatic moments.
I really didn’t feel the chemistry between them, so I find this so hard to read but I read it all anyway. What a shame, the premise was really good at the start but at every chapter I was liking glen (and the mc sometimes) less and less. I feel bad for the friend and I’m sad that we didn’t get to see him again after their dispute. Gonna need to read an uplifting story now.
