I read the novel a long time ago so I’ll answer by memory
1st- Damien is his nephew. Hugo had a kid with their half sister, can’t remember for sure but I think that he didn’t know that his lover was his half sister or that she was pregnant. Or maybe he found out and that’s why he killed himself and his dad, idk
2nd- Lucia ends up getting pregnant. And yes they have a daughter that Damien spoils and treats exactly like the little sister she is to him. I can’t remember for sure but I think Damien ends up liking or marrying the butlers daughter. That last part is either fuzzy in my mind or I somehow made it up but it’s true that the butler eventually gets married and has kids that I think grew up with Damien.
I read the novel recently and the last part you made up xD we don't know who is it Damien ends up with, we know he likes a girl of the academy, but nothing more about his romantic life.
What I vaguely remember from novel is a friend from academy too but not so sure. However , I wouldn't mind continuing tara bloodline though it's insect (coz cousins) and I know it sounds odd

Okey so.
1. Damien was it. At first I thought that he was Hiu's twin brother, the real Hugo's son. But I remembered that he is the same age as Hiu. So it doesn't match that muchBut it has a possibility. So like who is Damian's parents. This was the biggest question I have so far.
2. Our Lucia saw her future in her dreams and found the cure for her body change. (the pregnancy problem) And the only one who knows how to cure her was doctor Phillip. Even Hiu dont know the process. Remember when Lucia told Hiu that she cant get pregnant, Hiu thought that it wil be a problem if she give birth to a son.
If a Taran women and taran man has a child it will be a son. And taran man and normal woman has a child it will be a taran daughter. And that son and the daughter will have a taran son and this kind of thing continued for ages. Phillip didn't want taran bloodline to end so he desperately wants Lucia to be pregnant so the daughter can produce son for Damien. And the way to make a normal women to get pregnant with a taran child. Its kind of hard, and the way Lucia did was just like the process that Phillip said. When has the first period, she has to drink the herb until her period stops, then she has to have the first night with the taran then drinks the antidote to get her period back. Thats the method. So I think there will be a unexpected daughter. So the question is do you think the Taran bloodline will continue.
