That's when we say there a tad bit annoying. Since I and many other have read plots in the reincarnated mangas like this. It makes us tend to expect this kind of thing when reading some mangas(I've read and dropped to many mangas with that type of plot)
But otherwise I'm atleast pretty chill with them being in the plot since you know you just need a little bit of everything in the story including romance sometimes
I find the double standards funny though in how mangas filled with a bunch of guys as ml's dont have any criticism besides the fact that the readers all know the one person they end up with while abandoning the rest. (practically every reverse harlem with a second or third ml)
And yes I do read romance and I've noted this since it happens a lot.
I also had a comment where I asked will this be wholesome and people said that it probably will be another Harlem. So I'm disappointed-

I’m here for the action as well. I only read romance when it’s associated with something else and is secondary to the plot. Fantasy adventure is my favourite genre and i know sometimes authors write women so cally that they lack good charachters however some of you are just misogynistic.
women characters can be well written and interesting and funny. Their characters can be so varied and their relationships with the MC can be very wholesome and she will still be called a bitch.
if you have been reading fantasy adventure for a long time you know that’s it’s targeted towards the male gaze ... so why are people always calling every woman that shows up in a fantasy genre that has a relationship with the mc a bitch ? it’s like y’all don’t actually want better written female characters. you just hate women.

I completely agree. I honestly see why fantasy action is targeted towards but I still think that writers should give the girls more well written character but there are some readers who just completely hate the idea of women being in the plot.which is kinda rude-.A example of a non main character female in a manga is in the beginning of the end.The girl tess isnt that bad of a character and is actually written really well in my opinion she may have been in love with mc but still conflicts the fact that she isnt sure if he loves her back. It's a fantasy action but still puts the romance in there to a good degree. The mc in that manga also conflicts liking these girls because in his past life he was older and was like 30 while there like
12-16. It honestly is a good manga with good characters. I recommend reading it if you like
