Oh now that I think about it, it is actually plausible that Hathor has some involvement in it, there was a time where he was looking into the mirror with no reflection and suddenly saw Seth (when Seth took the mirror from Hathor) perhaps because of that, whenever Horus and Seth are in the same room as that mirror from the Goddess of Love he'd lose his rationality and pounce unto Seth.
I think if the person that Horus saw on the mirror, like Hathor for example, if Hathor was who Horus saw in the mirror then I think he'd pounce on her, that's probably why she was hesitant and excited to do something with the mirror, or I could be totally wrong hahahaha
the art is that amazingly simple yet complex at the same time, the story is easy to follow, and the characters are unique in personality and drive. ugh to think i almost stopped reading this after finding out what Osiris and Horus did to Seth, but i continued to see why those things happened. i’m still a bit confused about what came over Horus, but i’m hoping to get more understanding towards the end.
