Its definitely not a misunderstanding.!! Remember when he said that even if he'd cheated on him in the previous life he will never cheat again in the present and even in the next life!! SO IT MEANS HE REALLY DID CHEATED.. THEY DIDN'T CLARIFY THE CHEATED STORY SOOOO THAT'S IT,, THATS THE ANSWER HE CHEATED. But he make it up for him in the present life, they change the story together and so will be in the future

Also they never explained what actually happened in his previous life? I get that it was probably a misunderstanding but how do you explain the clothes thrown everywhere and wrapping his limbs around the other guy?? Plus his shirt was unbuttoned- it’s different from falling ontop of him with his clothes still on. I was really hoping they would do a transition to like what actually happened to the MC (maybe coma) or smth too but I guess that would become a parallel world :/
