This is just a guess and I’m not really sure but originally the mom of the little girl made an arranged marriage with shin because their family was just the mom and girl and they needed the bloodline to keep going especially if the girl was going to take over her moms position one day. Shin rejected it of course but I think they’re friends.
nah this isnt it. at first i saw that proposal scene comedic but i feel like it's what will create the problem in the future. cause I'm pretty sure we all saw evil shin being all manipulative at the end of the chapter. basically the kingdom is getting ready for the coming of age ceremony for young ladies. its when young women of marriageable age gather in the palace and await to present themselves to society on a specific day. but fsr there's a rumor going around that the ceremony is a way for shin to find a bride. this is because of the invitations they sent out. the writer who made erotic fanfictions of Wolfgang had apparently went overly metaphoric with the invitations. so it caused misunderstandings.
meanwhile rosalia (girl with peach hair) is the only daughter of the marquess and marchioness. the couple had already been old when they gave birth to her so there's some pressure on rosalia as the heir especially since she's a girl and whatnot. she and her mother went to the palace to observe the preparations of the ceremony. they also planned for her to be included in the debutante despite her young age.
when the marchioness told the plan to shin, he went all like "but this hasn't been done before. your daughter is too young" so rosalia misunderstood this as shin not wanting her to debut and inherit her household because he wanted to marry her instead lmaoo like i said the invitations are at fault. but she didn't actually propose to him. she just went like "i will inherit my estate and title so although I'm sure you'd be a wonderful husband, i cant marry you".
Can someone please explain me the interaction between Shin and the little girl. I didn't get the bride part and the rejection
