Grew up in a conservative surrounding but was exposed to internet very early, when I was 10 I found out abt lgbtq and have nothing against it bcs I was told by my older brother that love is love.
At 12 I got into kpop and learned more abt bl bcs it is normal for fans to ship their bias
Though Im not a kpopper anymore, I am lucky that i was exposed to the lgbtq because my family really are homophobic and kinda brainwashed us that lgbtq is a disgrace which is so wrong. ^^
My family is religious and I grew up in a strict household of sorts. But for some reason I was never bother by the LGBTQ community when I was younger even though I was taught that straight is supreme lmao

I’ll answer this question first! I found out about Bl when I was in 4th grade through a Japanese movie called “Takumi-Kun” (I think that’s what it’s called).
I never had any negative thoughts about gay people so it felt kinda normal I guess, I don’t know.
And then I was hooked on bl anime for the longest time haha
