Not only that he hated people touching him but she kept touching him forcefully. He couldn't do anything cuz she was royalty. He is one the male leads where I completely understand why he was cold to her before.

I think the reason why he likes her know is because he actually got to know her. Previously she just stalked him and made him severely uncomfortable. When she stopped that he was able to see her real (?) personality and fell in love ig. Bad timing on his part
