I don't think u read the story correctly. She was annoying and pushy before. She stalked him and did not respect his boundaries. She bullied people and always had her way. That's why he was cold to her. And even then he respectfully pushed her away. He couldn't do anything but beared with her cuz she abused the fact that she was royalty. I totally understand him.
And since she changed now and started behaving like a normal human being he likes her now.
Wasn't all this obvious.
he hated her when she was clinging to him and liked her when she's not. and they say women are complicated.
