To me, It's alright if the quality is better since everyone should strive to make this site better but it's really the worst form of annoyance when someone uploads over the original uploader with a worse translation.....I mean, that actually hurts the readers, the site's quality AND the manga/hwa/us that is being translated, since many people will hate it due to the bad translation.
Its so insensitive when someone uploads over the original uploaded AFTER the uploaded said not to do that and not get any form of punishment or criticism for it:/
