This webtoon made me feel stuff yo. It's been quite some time before a manga or webtoon made me feel multiple stuff.... like 5+ years ago, only 'Sakura Gari' made me bawl my eyes out, got me hot and bothered, then feel disgust for the assholes in the story. Like... I cried on how much Seth misses Anubis as a son, specially when his wife Nepthys said that Seth considers a child as 'proof of one's love' .....and it's kinda fucked up that Osiris took that as a chance to monopolize Seth.

Some talking points:
1. Correct me if I'm wrong but Osiris actually wanted to create a child with Seth and then implant Anubis' soul inside the child they'll create? Right? But that didn't happen because Isis created a curse (correct me if I'm wrong) that made it impossible for Seth to 'conceive' so basically, Nepthys gave her ability to conceive to Osiris, and Osiris forcibly implanted that on Seth so he and Seth can make their own child, then Isis cockblocked Osiris with a curse so Seth couldn't get pregnant with the rape. Am I the only who got that from chapters 40+?

2. Seth killed all those children because he's looking for Anubis lost innocence, am I wrong? I mean, Seth wanted to go back to the time where he didn't know Anubis wasn't his, and therefore his 'proof of love' or likely, his reason to live, right? I mean, Anubis probably doesn't know anything but he came to think his dad went crazy and saw all those horrible things his dad did, so it kinda strained their relationship and Seth misses the time they were still father and son, even if it was all a lie, right?

3. WTF. So Isis still loves Osiris and that's why she doesn't want to tank his husband's name by revealing the truth? So she thinks it's Seth's fault for letting Osiris fuck him in exchange for Anubis' soul and internal organs? ....she should acknowledge that she felt petty over that fact. I mean, as a woman she probably felt humiliated that Osiris is obsessed with a man moreso than her as his wife, but she defo got pissed that Osiris and Seth had sex cause it hurt her pride. But you know what, I can't even hate Isis cause her anger and jealousy is so humane and relatable, like holyshit Mojito really did a great job fleshing out all the characters, I don't even see any of the gods as villains........ even Osiris.

4. Why did Seth wanted Isis dead? In the 'history' or 'fake truth' that everyone knows is that Seth wanted to sleep with Isis to legitimize his throne, but it's not the real truth right? He asked Isis to take revenge, but Isis cursed him out of pettiness cause Seth had sex first with Osiris instead of offering her revenge, so petty. But then why did Seth wanted Isis dead? Cause Isis cursed Seth that he'll never have what he wants (have a happy father-son relationship with Anubis, have kids?).... so Seth wanted Isis dead because of the curse? or something else?

5. I know Ra had a looooot more children and also the rest of the gods had loooots more children that intermarried, I wonder if the new baby Ra is carrying would have a big role in the next season?

6. WTF Osiris is such a master manipulator. He planted a seed of doubt in Seth's mind that he is not strong enough as a Sand God without Osiris and that Nepthys never saw him as a husband because he's weaker than Osiris, so Seth can ruin egypt by flexing his chaotic energy and later, kill himself when the self doubt becomes bigger... THUS DELIVERING HIMSELF IN THE LAND OF THE DEAD WHERE OSIRIS CAN HAVE AN ALL DAY ASS BUFFET ON SETH. Like..... slow clap motherfucker knows how to get what he wants even in death. Ultimate yandere goals, yo.

7. Notice Osiris is soooo obsessed with Seth that even all his children in the story has some form of affection for Seth? Anubis craves his father's attention and Horus wanted to be loved by Seth (although, he got sexually awakened when he grew older)... like dafuq, Osiris' obsession runs deep in the blood.

8. Why dafuq did Horus rape Seth? Was it the power of the mirror? I don't get it. Did having the mirror make you horny? but it's a prison? and also a secret cctv on the other end of the mirror holder? Also, if the mirror made Horus horny, why not towards the owner of the other mirror, which is Hathor??? Or did Horus just really wanted to top Seth cause he got sexually awakened when Seth tried to top him first?? Someone help enlighten me.

ANYWAY, I'm on my way to tappytoon to purchase the chapters cause hot damn, MOJITO TAKE MY MONEY!

Dear reader, you practically put out all my doubts about this Mahwah. I feel like this story is more complex than it seems. there are too many parts where I can't fully understand why the characters behaved in a certain way. Just like you, Can't wait to receive an answer to all these questions

Okay. So to answer to all your questions in one long post which puts together some of my answers and Jayjay’s ones since what you asked has been already answered in the previous posts.

    Let’s start with Osiris:

Osiris has always been secretly in love with Seth, he is secretly jealous of Seth's marriage to Nefthis so he always interferes secretly with their married life, plotting to ruin their chances of having children, sending Seth away to war, etc.
When Osiris finds out that Seth's wife Nefthis is becoming desperate to give Seth a child, but she’s unable to, he somehow persuades her into letting him be the one who secretly get her pregnant instead.
In reality, Seth has been unable to impregnante Nefthis because of Osiris doing; he “took” his seed/fertility using a magical plant.

So, Osiris secretly impregnates Seth's wife in Seth's place, and she gives birth to Anubis, whom Seth initially thinks that he is his own son and whom he raises and grows to love immensely.

One day, Seth learns the truth and goes to confront Osiris, while Osiris' wife Isis finds out the whole truth from Seth's wife.

Osiris has already been preparing for such an outcome from the very beginning and plots to turn it to his advantage in order to make Seth his once and for all: he finally admits to Seth the way he feels about him, but Seth refuses him because both of them were married and also because he doesn’t reciprocate Osiris’ feelings.

Then Osiris goes on with his original plan in order to "force" Seth to give in: in Osiris’ eyes children are the "shackles" that keep couples together, so he is just going to have to "impregnate" Seth in order to "shackle" him to himself.

Since two male gods can’t create a newborn, he will use the "goddess' reproductive essence" he stole from Seth's wife and inject it inside Seth in order for him to be able to create the newborn's body, whereas for the newborn's soul he already stole Anubis' soul which would later become the soul of Osiris and Seth's new "child".

That way, Osiris says, they will be fulfilling both Seth's wish to have a child and Osiris' own wish to "shackle" Seth to himself.

Since doing so meant killing the current Anubis (whose body, uknown to Seth up to thatpoint, was currently lying on a bed as an empty shell, after Osiris had recently stolen his soul) Seth was obviously horrified, and demanded that Osiris give back Anubis' soul. When he saw Osiris wasn't listening, he said he didn't need to have any biological children of his own after all, that the current Anubis that he had taken in and raised like his own was more than enough, and that would have sex with Osiris in every way Osiris wanted, as long as Osiris restored Anubis' soul to Anubis' original body. And that's how Osiris' rapes of Seth started, with Osiris holding Anubis' life hostage in order to get Seth to do what he wanted -> in other words Osiris didn’t inject the “sand”/creation power u see him holding into Seth simply because Seth gave in; it doesn’t have to do with Isis’ curse, that’s not related.

Then Seth as revenge tricked Osiris and cut him in different parts, following Sekhmet’s advice and threw him in the Nile so Isis could find him. So now Osiris is bound to be in Duat (the afterlife).

    Now, Isis:

She witnesses the rape of Seth and she knows what Osiris did to Seth.

She then performs a ritual to get revenge by putting a curse on Osiris, Seth and Nefthis and even on herself (the Goddess of Magic).

Later on Seth figures out why she included herself as a target because she thought she also deserved a punishment due to the way she couldn't make herself stop loving her husband Osiris, even after seeing all the abominable stuff he has done.

The curse on these four is that Osiris (Isis' husband) will never be able to have Seth, Seth will never have Anubis, Nefthis(Seth's wife) will never succeed in killing herself to end her shame like she desperately wished for, and that Isis herself will never be able to keep Osiris by her side (which became true since now Osiris can never leave the world of the dead for long -he uses Anubis as his host - as he already belongs there, so he and Isis can never be reunited in the world of the living for long)

To conceive Horus Isis makes a deal with Osiris (because without a deal he wouldn’t have bedded her since he nurtures such an obsessive love for Seth) so she would have a son to rule Egypt instead of Seth and Osiris will get Seth in Duat. Of course this deal is a lie because Isis’ true intention is to destroy Seth, make him perish from existence so that Osiris can’t have him.

    Why Isis hates Seth?

She hates him because he never told her what’s going on with him while expecting her to become his wife in order to rule Egypt. She hates him because he forced her into exile with a pregnant belly and continued to chase after her for many years while she tried to hide away in some poverty slums, forfeiting her godly attire and aura. Not only that he killed thousands of women that resemble Isis’s appearance, making those humans as well as those gods whom Seth destroyed their temples in pursuit of Isis to collectively condemn Isis all together, making her the enemy of the whole country. That’s the reason why she hates him.

    Seth

Why Seth hates or better wanted to rape Isis?

Seth, after killing Osiris, wanted his revenge but he did it in the wrong way. He tried to force Isis to team up with him and he retorted to violence. He was basically crazy back then bc of what Osiris managed to do to him.

    Why Seth killed innocent children?

Seth killed many of them in order to be able to make his weapon stronger and be able to defeat Osiris, as he knew Osiris being dead wouldn't stop him and he would sooner or later find a way to keep stalking him, even from Duat. The reason the children from Kemis, in particular, were killed, was because Seth was desperately checking every single one of them to see if they were the runnaway Anubis, and like the comment above said, he grew frustrated when they turned out to be some other kid instead. It's been stated before that gods can't sense Anubis' whereabouts (nor Horus') because those two aren't gods themselves yet, and gods can only use their godly senses to find other gods, not humans or anything else below. So Seth made the humans bring him boys to see if they could get lucky enough to find and bring Anubis to him mixed among those other kids, grew desperate when none of the kids turned out to be his son, and killed them out of frustration. Horus was ony spared because Seth was already drunk and high enough to mistake him for Anubis.

To go into details here -> The out Seth killing humans in order to use their souls (particularly the souls of women and children) to make himself a stronger weapon to fight Osiris, is said in chapter 36 (around the part where Osiris says to Seth, "To think you would turn souls, and not just bodies, into weapons") and in chapter 39 (around the part where Seth tells Isis, "Thanks to you, I was able to (I came up with a method to) make a sturdy sword", and he mentions how he used the souls of those women who died with feelings of betrayal towards their men who had betrayed them in order to sell them as sacrifices to fulfill the request of such an offering from the god of war, Seth). Anubis being able to come and go undetected by the eyes of the gods (mainly because he isn't a god himself) is said by Horus in chapter 26 (though IIRC, it was said other times as well... and let's not forget how Horus is always able to sneak up on Seth, undetected, when Seth's distracted, that's because Horus isn't a god either, so Seth can't sense him).

Horus (best boi even if he’s obsessed with Seth )

So Seth goes and tries to rape Horus, falling right into Sekhmet's trap because earlier Seth reacted to Sekhmet's taunts by cutting off her arm therefore she secretly wanted revenge; so she convinced Seth to go and try to rape Horus and when he did, Sekhmet "possessed" ( using the mirror Hathor gave to Horus which amplifiers one’s true desires) Horus and made him rape Seth instead, making Seth relive the trauma of feeling powerless against it just like when Osiris raped him.
When Horus realizes what happened, he is distraught because he didn't know why that happened -> we need to know more info on how this mirror works but the general idea is this: you loose your inhibitions and the lust towards the person you desire overpowers you and u can’t do anything about it -> this was a double non con bc Horus didn’t want to rape Seth.

oooooh it all makes sense now!

Although I have to beg to differ on the fertility essence not being given to Seth. In chapter 44 page 11, Osiris says "My Seth, you are my soil and I am your tree. Be reborn as my fertile earth" ...... doesn't that sound like he already planted the fertility essence in Seth and was declaring Seth bear his children?

Also, I didn't know Anubis ran away. And I also don't recall how he was found? I'm just asking questions because it's not clear to me yet if these things were explicitly portrayed or implied since I don't remember Anubis going missing and being found.

Alsooooo.... there was a scene in chapter 10 where dead Osiris saw Seth again and basically said, "just as I thought, nothing beats meeting you face-to-face" ....was it implied that Osiris raped Seth again?? cause I don't seem to remember how that meeting ended ......ALSOOOO I just realized.... Osiris uses Anubis' body whenever he meets the people in the living world, so did Osiris violated Seth using Anubis' body? 0_0 like wtf???

I hope season 2 won't have Anubis' body + Osiris doing nasty shit with Seth cause that's weird and I don't like AnuSeth O_o

“My Seth, you are my soil and I am your tree. Be reborn as my fertile earth" ...... doesn't that sound like he already planted the fertility essence in Seth and was declaring Seth bear his children? —> no, in fact Osiris himself was the one who in the end swallowed the essence to get in the Duat after Seth. The “sand” wasn’t given to Seth.

“Also, I didn't know Anubis ran away. And I also don't recall how he was found? I'm just asking questions because it's not clear to me yet if these things were explicitly portrayed or implied since I don't remember Anubis going missing and being found” —> he committed suicide and met Osiris in the Duat. Osiris played the role of the good guy, listening to his story and crying and all, and to bring him to life he gave him a lotus flower. That lotus flower is the one which keeps Anubis alive.

"just as I thought, nothing beats meeting you face-to-face" ....was it implied that Osiris raped Seth again?? —> no, it was just a kiss; the only rape scene was in the flash back when Osiris was still a God of Life.

cause I don't seem to remember how that meeting ended ......ALSOOOO I just realized.... Osiris uses Anubis' body whenever he meets the people in the living world, so did Osiris violated Seth using Anubis' body? —> no, the rape scene was in the flash back when Osiris was still a God of Life; when he comes out of the Duat Osiris does it as you correctly stated thanks to Anubis’ body bc Anubis became his host, but he cannot stay too long his time is measured.

Sekhmet is actually an interesting character she’s chaos, she behaves like a God should behave, her first priority is Egypt and not the mundane things like family and such
