You are right I have not... I will not debate it! Lol however, I’ve read enough bl/yaoi to understand how long they can last, how it feels and why they feel the need to do it! I’m not against him having an unrequited love, but let’s just analyze this: 1) the person he has a crush on obviously still has feelings for that dick seme (and daon knows it too) 2) the person you like straight out said he knows you like him, however it wasn’t in a way to give him any hope of a future with that person. 3) you are clearly being manipulated by both these assholes and you have a perfectly ok specimen (despite the fact that they had a rocky start) who confessed to you openly no run around a but you rather be sleepless and be abused! At this point it’s not UL it’s SS.
But what do I know I’ve never been in an UL, so I am just speaking from a readers point of view! My sympathies only go out to the coworker

I definitely understand the pain, they tend to stay in fucked up situations for these kinds of love! But I find it hard to sympathize when there is a healthier alternative for you! Idk I’m a logical person... how I look at it is consider other ukes in UL and think they would be so happy to have Mr coworker rn... but I get you! It do be hard to let go

I think there’s more to it than just unrequited love with Jaemin. Soohyun seems really scary, daon’s definitely scared of him and probably scared of what he might do to the coworker if they started a relationship. That’s why he probably thinks it’s best to not let the coworker get involved in their toxic love triangle early on since he is an outsider after all.
From my experience they end up getting involved anyways so why not start from the beginning before shit hit the fan
