exactly!! like, I understand that her objective is to make him happier, but she is also doing this out of selfishness... ya know? because she is putting herself into the narrative to be with him
does anyone else kind of think she's insensitive? like... just because someone 'changes' (literally in this case), and they apologize does not mean that the trauma they left behind fades away. Its just really weird for me, that she is being over the top for him to love her when for all of his life has had been assaulted and bullied by her (past her). I feel like she should tone it down a little :(
