It’s worth it, ya just gotta stick it out for some parts. It’s not extremely r*pey but it def has its dubious consent moments, and some cringe moments not necessarily sexual.

The male lead Seungho is just problematic, but he had a character development (just took a long time)....the plot is fine though

    You will love it
    I was sceptic too

I will be a bit a nay sayer and say it's not worthy if the r*** thing is something that will upset you.
A good way to know if this is for you: Have you read other rape plot stories and made peace with the endgame of the two MCs ending together? especially ones where the rape scenes are more graphic? I am not talking Hidoku Shinaide 'cutesy' rape plots, I'm talking darker rape plots like Warehouse where the partner actually spends more time suffering before the relationship happens.

I personally think that people who can't tolerate the unrealistic idea of rape plots shouldn't read this or any other no matter how good the art or how big the hype is because they can't help it but post the obvious complaint that they are reading rape plot ( after choosing to read it) or the tiring 'Stockholm syndrome' memo, or worst yet, they get obsessed with shaming people who ship the couple.

If you choose to read: Admit for your own emotional sake that It's a rape plot trope and the MCs are expected to be endgame. Big hint is the merchandise that the author promotes the ship. If you can't make peace with the rape and the endgame, please don't stay around whining about it.

Warning, probably the most important difference to know: It's very slow paced, the MC development will not be enough to most people so you will get frustrated.

I'm sorry being the nay sayer in the comments but I think that one of the curses of POTN being so popular and hyped is the amount of readers who would normally ignore this story as they do with dozens of others that are rape plot ... but read it because everyone else is talking about and then they keeping posting shaming and nagging topics whining about the rape-plot (that they picked to read).
Most readers who dislike rape plot and read POTN behave like those people who expected to eat vegetarian when they follow the crowd to a steakhouse just because of the decoration or the hype.
If you choose to read anyway, just please don't be one of those.
I sincerely hope you enjoy if you read it.

This is the 1st time I read something that I agree 100%. Your comment should be fixed on top of magago’s page. I believe that if you choose to read a plot with rape, despite the tags and all the warnings, you should not shaming people who like it. Anyways is just a comic, no one is actually getting raped here, so what’s the point?

thanks for your insight! and no, i'm not one of those people that usually tends to drop a hate comment on something that i did not enjoy nor live up to my expectations. i usually just drop then go. POTN was one of the manhwas that caught my eye way before, but forgotten for a while due to acads hehe. now that i am back, i just read a huge amount of negative (and i guess exaggerated) comments, so that added to the nervous feeling.

because of that, i thought that this was smth similar to what i read years ago that was full on r*** and had no major plot progression. so yea i was just making sure haha

anyway, i am halfway the manhwa already lmao and while i admit ML is a jerk, im really interested to know what happened to him prior to current chap i am in ^^ i honestly hope i didnt mean to offend anyone. i was really curious if POTN was just worth a read due to exaggerated comments. your comment should be pinned tbh!! thanks again ^^

The story contains rape, more than just dubious consent, but I think it handles it really well. As Zarathustra said it's a more graphic and serious take on rape. Personally I generally like that more than the "cutesy" rape plots where the rape is never acknowledged or just forgiven/forgotten without any character or plot development (I can't stand Hodoku Shinaide for example but love Warehouse). While the ML is a major jerk in the beginning he will have a drastic but still realistic character development which is amazing to see!
