She was a candidate for becoming a sword . In this lifetime she doesn’t end up as a sword but she still had potential. I think she was just to powerful for them to ask this time
I believe she was always a candidate, hence why her name is written (probably in both lives). So, even if she went back 400 years, those years passed after she became the sword and the project was completed. It just doesn't change the fact that she was always a candidate. Candidate being the key word and not confirmed participant.
ok so like i’m kind of confused cause didn’t charlize go 400 back into the past? so why is her name in the book? is it signifying that they were planning on using her or is it the remnants of her past of already being transformed
