Still I like the mc more than anyone in the story so I honestly am worried about the mc getting hurt due to the ml unsolved issues. And honestly although he may have his backstory if the ml is like you said and believes that he can't hold good relationship with others than he shouldn't at all until he learns to actually trust his partners, because with him doing so he hurts both the mc and himself. I don't like him he's too perfect for my taste he feels fake.
Yo, you might not have met a person who likes giving rather than taking (basically the ML's attitude) , then it's really hard to understand (which I knew a lot) . Relationship based, ML might still be in the process of appreciating true love rather than be used. But we are just a few chapters ahead, don't be so quick to judge him yet no worries his actions towards the MC are genuine and honest you just have to be more understanding of his personality? Like it's new to most ML's and maybe due to the art (his face is always looks like a villain ) but he just needs some adjustments.
No I have met people who like to give more actually my best friend but as much as she likes to give she also has her own personality which makes me feel like she just genuinely nice, and I know he's probably a good person but I like the mc a lot more than I do like him.
