Here's my opinion, it is definitely gender inequality but in that situation, it is acceptable. Not all women learn combat or how fight and defend themselves, it's only natural for them to say that they to say that the girl would be useless in that situation. The way they worded can't be any better any that, sometime you have to be harsh so that they understand that running away is the best option, letting them stay will only be a burden. Telling them off nicely will only make them reluctant to run away.
If you were to put yourself in that situation, you need a reality check to know that every second counts, they are buying you time for u to run and are you just gonna waste their effort by staying behind and help, knowing that you're useless and a burden you don't run away ?
And yeah, the translation maybe different from the others (* ̄︶ ̄*)
Spoilers.-----
So I recently read the newest chapter , and I kinda noticed how there was slight gender inequality. Now I might just be being petty but I'll say it anyways. One of someone's men said that one of the girls would be 'unhelpful or useless in the situation ' and to leave it up to the men.. Now I kind of understand why, she can't fight. But I feel like it could've been worded differently just for the fact that that statement is so not true in everyday life.
Idk I might just be being petty but it is my own opinion. Also the translation may be different because I read it on a Korean website.
