I agree with your opinion. I have been through what the Uke is going through. (I'm a lesbian.) My whole youth was spent trying to be someone who I was not. I went out with guys because my family and friends were suspicious of me. It was a horrible way to live my life. I felt as though not a single person knew me or would accept the real me if they did. The girl I loved tossed me aside after graduation even though I thought I found someone I could be real with.
I drank and drank and it was probably the darkest time in my life. And maybe I didn't deal with it the same way the uke did (he became careless and insensitive) but I found the love of my life. She was kind where I was rough, gentle where I was insensitive and strong where I was weak. And yeah maybe I do not deserve her but because of her I'm stronger and because of her I changed.

A lot of people are bashing the Uke but I personally believe that he's just broken and hurt. All his life he's been abnormal and different to everyone around him and when he finally got a taste of what it's like to be accepted (even by just one person), he quickly lost it in a painful way. That can break a person... maybe not physically, but it leaves a lasting scar on both mind and heart . ┗( T﹏T )┛

Some may think that the seme deserves better and maybe you're right, but you can't help with how and who you fall in love with.
