dante basically was told to get married asap since hes getting old and that made him want to make ebony his asap too. ebony however isn’t ready for love yet and definitely not a relationship and was scared by the duke’s aggressiveness towards her since he’s usually quite nice & understanding. In the end he becomes frustrated and leaves the room.

Like I knew it but wow, the Duke can sure be an asshole when he wants to.
And to y'all guys, don't go "please ebony~" she need time, and she probably wants to do a lots of things and everything will change for her it she gets married, for the duke on the other hand nothing will change.
