hes actually not like lucas, although he hates arthur because of what he did to lucas later on in the future but hes not as much of an asshole as lucas. he’s still a lance and he can’t neglect his responsibilities as one.

in the novel bairon arrived at the school after arthur killed lucas, so he didnt have a chance to protect him. not sure about the finding out part but i dont remember a part saying that he does
