i’ve seen some comments about how this manga shows negative stereotypes of femininity and what it means to be a woman but i disagree. i feel like it approached the topic in a realistic way to a lot of girls and femme people; at least for me i related a lot to yuki especially bc as a lesbian i’ve struggled a lot with comphet and what femininity is for me which ended up in me feeling like i need men to confirm my femininity if that makes sense? it shows the complicated relationships these characters have to gender and sexuality and i just relate a lot,, it’s so freeing to grow up and learn new things about yourself and finally be able to confirm your identity and i think this manga expressed those experiences really well <3
