sorry, this is very long ;-; (this is a summary of the next three chaps after chap 20 of the manhwa)

- reyn woke up but is blind and can’t see, but he’s comforted by prim’s presence and is able to talk to her
- he begs for her to stay by his side and makes her promise it, all the while prim is crying and wishing for her to be the one in pain instead
- reynsis falls back asleep and wakes up every now and again, but only calls for prim to come and makes her promise again and again to always stay by his side
/dream start/
- reynsis has a dream of his childhood where everyone is calling him a cursed monster and his father is saying to cut off his head so he can put it in his treasure collection
- he struggles and starts yelling ‘stop it, stop it’ and pushes them away. then a mirror is broken and glass shards fly everywhere
- reynsis is very depressed and looks in his cold, dark reflection in the broken glass of the mirror, grabs a shard of glass and says ‘if I stab myself with this, will I die? where should I stab it?’
- as he brings the sharp glass closer to his neck, someone’s smiling face suddenly appears
- “prim...” he says, “if I die in a dream, if god can’t wake me up, what kind of face would you have? she was so kind that she reached out her hand to me who was so broken and unlovable. in this monochrome world, maybe she’s the only one who would care to cry for me.”
- his desire to die dissipates when he thinks of her
- “… right. maybe I wanted you to be my fated one all along” he says
- reyn starts to cry, but suddenly a single petal flutters next to him, and a warmth envelopes him, he sees a blurry vision of colour
- “this color seems lighter than red...hm…how do I explain this?...it’s the colour of the petals I saw in spring!”
- he sees a light ahead and walks towards it, the scent of roses getting stronger with every step
- “your highness!” a voice says
- reyn looks up and sees his lovely prim, and a wind of rose petals dance around him
/dream end/
- suddenly, reynsis wakes up from his dream and he sees the ceiling is a colour he’s never seen before

- prim also has a dream, where reyn is in front of the rose temple they went to, smiling beautifully like she’d never seen before
/start prim’s dream/
- he walked up to her and gave her a rose “this rose looks like you” and softly caresses her cheek “I’ve always wanted to touch you”
- his fingers move slowly from her cheek to her chin, right beneath her pink lips
- “I...you” he says, but she can’t quite make out what he’s saying
/end prim’s dream/
- she wakes up

- prim looked and reyn and realised his eyes were now bright cerulean blue, not grey
- “I can really see your eye colour” reyn says and prim starts crying
- reyn is panicked by her tears and starts fumbling, trying to comfort her and begging her not to cry
- as prim looks at his eyes once more, she stops crying and starts to smile instead which makes reynsis laugh
- reynsis asks if they still have class together, and prim says of course but then remembers that now that he can see colours, there is no need for class anymore
- reynsis starts panicking again and tries to think of a way to keep her by his side
- now that he can see colours again, he will have to go to the main palace and learn to become a throne candidate so he tells prim to come with him, but prim starts to hesitate
- reynsis tries to think of a way to keep her by his side, and suddenly blurts out “my eyes hurt” (he’s lying to try and gain her sympathy)
- prim is shocked and comes very close to reyn’s face, filling up his entire vision “oh no! how’s your vision? can you see? does it hurt a lot?”
- jackpot. reynsis pretends to be docile and whimpers, saying that his ‘beauty’ didn’t love him back so that’s why his eyes hurt
- prim freaks out, and reyn takes the opportunity to intertwine their hands together
- prim is startled but reyn says ‘my eyes hurt less if we do this’ (sneaky hehehe)
- she says that she will try to find his ‘beauty’ for him, and reyn makes her promise to stay by his side until she finds the ‘beauty’ (which will be never because he wants prim to stay by his side forever)

and this is up to the middle of chap 31 of the novel :)

atm the novel has been dropped :(( so we haven’t progressed very far and she has yet to fall for him, so I’m just waiting for the manhwa to catch up or for someone to pick it up again
but honestly reading the novel so far is pretty worthwhile imo :)
