It is actually scary. I once lost my hearing and when I went to the doctor they told me I might go deaf and I couldn’t stop myself from crying. I’m fine now but I will never forget what I felt back then.
True, it can really be traumatic. Just a slight change, i get anxious

ML crying when he woke up blind made me remember my experience. As a person who once lost one of my senses, it’s really scary. You do not know if it will return or it’s permanent. I cried myself to sleep despite telling myself it’s gonna be alright. I’m glad it returned weeks later.
