Ikr, the escape could be interesting, but as of now the whole character development is so shitty istg.
I think it was more a "if I can't have her, nobody can" type thing, and was obsessed with the taste of her and he was crazy enough to lose control indulging in her and broke her
I think it wasn't exactly so that nobody else can have her, but just like this strong desire after her blood. I mean it happened twice already with the blood and if you look at that reaction... I guess he'd be able to just.. eat her when he smells her blood.
I mentioned blood so often.. geez. But the monopolizing thing probably plays a role too? Idk, that's just how I see that.
Maybe it's just the first few chapters an dhow it's so confusing, but idk why I find the urge to drop it. It's just so weird that the ml would cannibalize her just to"monopolize" the power? does that mean he'd be invicible after eating her? But by having her alive, he'd still be able to get purified, and we know he's OP af without her, so he'd be able to monopolize her forcefully with or without cannibalism. So it's just weird to me...
