An omega learning sword fighting is a first time thing for the brother. So his reaction is a result of his protective brotherly side and from the societal gender roles.

Well yeah I get your point i do. But it's so sad that pride put so much work into. Thinking his brother was gonna take him seriously. Like to me that's just an act of betrayal. And he was even gonna embarrass him in front of everyone by trying to call it off so quick. That's kinda harsh in my opinion. And I know that field of learning was never nice but still. Yeah, it does make me feel bad and some kind of betrayal vibes. There is also the thing that the brothers considering him as a monster and later on regretted it. So I feel and understand your points bud.
