I feel way more sorry for a king. Those are very fucking serious traumas. If he was a girl I bet people would’ve been way more enraged. Not only rape but having to raise child which was an aftermath of your darkest and most traumatic moment in life. I can’t even imagine that.

I’m not saying you can’t feel sorry for him either? I just said I feel sorry for the original female lead. It’s not about who had it worse because to each person their trauma , hurt or sadness could be the worst thing in th world to them. No one is on this post downplaying the kings traumas.

Its was only me speaking the truth. His disrespect towards her is a direct result of the trauma he experienced. That’s not me downplaying it, it’s me acknowledging he does have it and it also the reason she had then had her own which lead her to continue the cycle.
Yeah I understand. I don’t think u lied about it. It’s just how it sounded. Unfortunately it happened but I also don’t think she’s not at all at fault. I think you’re forgetting what her character was like. She was being very forceful and cunning towards him, it was said that she did stuff before like approaching him in her underwear which can also be counted as the sexual harassment, not to mention trigger his trauma. So she ain’t a saint and that’s why I personally don’t feel bad for her. Clearly it’s possible to get close to him if MC can, so the original owner of the body clearly chose the wrong path. Not only that she took her anger out on a kid, there ain’t excuse for that. He was probably forced into another marriage, when it comes to arranged marriages I don’t believe u have to be loving person towards another, I think indifference is very much justified not to mention when u have trauma like that. U never wanted it, u should just stay respectful, tho u don’t think she was really respectful either. Ik tho that times were different and support of the husband was very important tho I still think she approached the situation in the wrong way, therefor he hated her.
I feel sorry for the original female lead. I can see why she got drove into a corner bc if it’s not the rumors about her, it’s her parents or even her husband blunt disrespect towards her because of his own traumas. I’m not saying she is excused for her treatment of the kid but I can see where she’s coming from. Her husband and the people broke her down til she felt inferior, unwanted, ugly and just not worthy of love. I honestly wished in the end she got the sorry she deserved.
