If u read omegaverse, it's like biting the nape without a bite mark. I hope u get my explanation (⌒▽⌒)

Well in Blood Link, the female Lycans gets to choose who they wanna mark FIRST, and yeah marking is just biting the nape of the neck, it means that you have a "mate" or you've just been marked now...ig sorry I'm really bad at explaining things, but its simpler than it sounds lol

It means u became a pair or mate. In omegaverse, marking is very exclusive between omegas and alphas. for instance, when the alpha marked his omega, that omega will be exclusively his. The omega will only react to his pheromones and will only go to heat because of his pair. They hated other people's pheromones. In some omegaverse, they can't even had seggs with someone else if they are marked. This goes the same when the alpha is marked too. Also, if the marked person is away with his pair or mate, he will experience some diseases or illnesses. To sum up, they became exclusively for each other. In blood link, this is just my guess but since ino marked kakia, and because of that kakia became his. Something horrible might happen when they are away from each other. and ino worries about the marking without kakia's consent. Because it will be seen as ino imprisoning kakia without him knowing, something like that haha. Marking might sounds sweet but its dangerous. The mark can't be removed, not until the your pair or the one who marked you died.

But Ino is not a female lycan right? Can he still “mark” Kakia?

Marking is not just for females. It goes both ways. Its a sign of possession just like gok said. It's leaving your scent to your pair or lover so other wolf or lycan knows that they're yours. So yes, Ino can mark Kakia. Actually, in Omega verse, it's mostly Alpha's (male ones) who usually marks their females. So other males don't try to go near them.

I do understand what marking is, since I´ve read a few omegaverse.

My question is how did the marking ocurred in this world? omegaverse is by biting the nape, then when or how was the act in blood link?

As far as I´ve read is something you can´t really see I guess, based on the fact that Ino is consulting Gok on how to tell Kakia

But seriously how do they "mark"? maybe something along the lines of wolfs/werewolves biology?

hmm sorry but i can't remember what happened between gok and bin. Its been ages since their story. But yeah, maybe it wasnt show how to do it physically like the omegaverse with the bite mark.

I've been rereading blood link and as what i understand, i think gok accidentally marked bin when he realized that he loves him(?) and ofc bin didn't know that except when gok's mother told bin that gok marked him

I guess you're talking about mating. It's when you bite the neck or nape to leave a 'mark' as a sign of the other person being your mate.

In this story, the 'marking' they're talking about is just leaving scent to the other partner. It could be called scenting on other omegaverse. But in this story, the scenting/marking can also be considered as mating. Since it's not leaving a visible mark but instead their own scent.

Also, only Wolf/Lycan can smell the marking/scenting. Other species/monsters/race won't know if they're marked/scented. So it's normal that Bin and Kakia won't know that they're Marked since they're Vampires.

You're partly correct since normally, wolf/Lycan only Marks the partner they want to spend their lives with. Most of the time it's in their instinct. That's why here, gok and Ino Marked Bin and Kakia without realizing it.
