hm not necessarily, he knew that she was being kind to him for a reason and using him for something just didnt know what it was and didnt care too much to look into it. if he really wanted to, he could. he let himself be "manipulated" by her if it makes sense. he's not overbearing imo tho... he is obsessive tho, I guess you can think that is overbearing or not considering your own opinion. bur really tho the story is amazing and the characters are complex and I love it :)!!!
