I felt that the whole story gave the feeling of a play, especially when you've read the synopsis beforehand. There's so much build up until the moment, and then you're left with the remnants of the events that happened prior for the rest of it.
Honestly, I feel I could write a whole paper on this lol
yeah, it was certainly a heavy read, but i found it was unique at the same time. i probably won't read it again for a while, because it really was really heavy, but i'm sure i'll back here anyway. and the only reason i managed to keep reading tbh was the fact that i was pushing myself to finish it, i have a tendency to leave works unfinished, and with a story like this, i didn't want to lose momentum.
So I binged this in the span of three days and I was seriously drained by the end of it. Even though I have some problems with it, I found it to incredibly beautiful. Close to the end of the series, I was growing increasingly confused in the sea of double-meaning imagery, but I don't think it drew back from the quality of the overall thing.
Loved it, looking for recs that are like this series, or at least some light-hearted series to heal my heart lol
