Just out of curiosity ... Have you forgotten that Yahwi raped Jooon while he was asleep during their first time together? I don't even like Jooin but he's not making himself out to be a victim. He IS a victim. And Yahwi is a rapist.
What is wrong about jooin not wanting an abusive bf?? Thats not him putting expectations on him, thats called expecting normal decency which yawhi clearly doesn't have.

I do agree with you in some points, that's yes Jooin communication sucks. But at the same time, Jooin's not playing victim just to play it. When he has ppl virtual harassing him for what liking Yahwi the popular guy. Even before things got deep Yahwi friends were already bad mouthing him. I think Jooin wants Yahwi to understand that hey we mess around whether its public are not, there shouldn't be a reason why He has to be harrassed and looked like he's the cause of the problem. Its a two way thing. And I don't think wanting to being treated with respect is asking for a lot. Sure Jooin can't expect Yahwi to treat him like he's his boyfriend, but at the same time lines have been crossed, and so has expectations. And they are both expecting things out of one another without making their relationship clear. And I think yes if Yahwi explains how he's always viewed ppl and how they saw him it would make since to Jooin why he reacts in certain manners.
And the Cain thing, yes his affection is a little smoother, but at the sametime, who doesn't want there partner to love on them. We've only seen small pieces of Cain's character and how his and Jooin relationship would work. And the same can be said for Jooin and Yahwi's.
I think all the abuse especially cyber bullying came do early in the story ppl are forgetting ehy Jooin acts the way he does.
OK DONT GET CRAZY BUT... Um why are we calling their first time rape again. I just went back to re-read it... they were BOTH drinking and flirting... yawhi told him to slow it down. Jooin got wasted Y took him to a hotel, which happens often in BL when they don’t know where the person lives... J started flirting cause he thought he was in another sexy Yawhi dream and Y went with the flow cause u know it’s BL and he was drunk and horny too especially since we know what jooin means to him. Then there were moments when J responded like he knew exactly what was going on during sex... prolly cause he still thought he was still in a sexy dream (not Y’s fault) and then he said “stop” “please” but to me , and prolly Yawhi, it sounded like “stop I’m going to cum and I don’t want to yet” which then followed with “splurt” followed by more of the same “this feels weird” yatta yatta splurt splurt. They were both into each other before the fact, the. They were both drinking, they both acted like they wanted it during it. And then Yawhi left cause you know he has the emotional capacity of a toad and jooin woke up and didn’t remember anything.... and continued to look for Y like a lost puppy. How is this rape!? Again genuinely asking DONT FIGHT ME.
i'll try to answer this. Probably because in a real life scenario you can be prosecuted with this. Yes, even if BOTH are intoxicated, As long as one isn't fully aware or is not in the right mind to give consent. In that scenario it was Yahwi who initiated the act that's why most would classify him as the rapist and what's worse is that jooin did not remember it afterwards but yahwi did.
it's honestly a gray area for me whether that scene was rape or not but it made me uncomfortable so I understand why people are furious about it.

I guess I didn’t feel so uncomfortable because (if u go back to chp 7 & 8) it’s clear they were both drinking, Yawhi didn’t have any malicious intent... he took him to a safe place, washed his clothes, cleaned his throw up, jooin wasn’t incoherent or passed out, jooin licked yawhi’s finger initiating the whole ordeal when Yawhi put him in bed (granted he thought he was in a dream but how was yawhi supposed to know that!?) also it’s not yawhi’s fault jooin didn’t remember what happened, he didn’t drug jooin! (He told him to stop drinking while he himself was having shots of tequila) And last but it least the “victim” did not feel victimized by these sexual acts he just doesn’t like yawhi’s shitty attitude. In the real world this would not be proud moment for Yawhi (drunk sex never is) but I don’t think he would be prosecuted for rape or date rape. AGAIN JUST MY OPINION DONT FIGHT ME.
Also can’t we just take the writers word for it, they are the ones who visualized the whole scenario in their mind and to them it’s obviously not rape. I’m too invested in this... I need to go bathe in bleach.
I see that everyone is simping Cain because he's a good boy. I know from my own experience that having a partner as loyal and dedicated as a dog, not caring about another thing in this world is simply suffocating after some time. Realistically speaking, you better have someone who also has a life of thier own. But yeah, it's very tempting and seems ideal in the beginning.
I still don't like Jooin, though, for being so arrogant in his 'hurt' that he doesn't even try to understand Yahwi as a person, he's really shallow in that matter because he wants him to act as he expects or in other words he wants him to live up to his expectations of conveying feelings and being in a relationship, he doesn't ever want to understand his reasons, he doesn't ask him questions about why he did what he did and he doesn't try to explain his expectations and reasoning. Total lack of communication. But Jooin is just moody and prefers to run away all the time (seen even with Cain last chapter) instead of talking about things like adults should. I don't like this type of people, honestly. He's just creating a trouble that could not exist if talked through.
I'm also sad how Yahwi didn't ask or told Jooin about their meeting long ago, I'm equally sad Jooin doesn't remember it but of course he's a princess after all, he needs to create a drama. Being hurt is one thing but if you make yourself to be such a 'little poor victim' all the time, it's just annoying. Yahwi didn't commit a crime on him, he just hurt his feelings, which he didn't even intend to apparently, so there's no reason to make a theatre like that.
