Im kinda tired of the easy narrative people seem to have of attributing Helena’s overtly kind nature and inaction to suppress the hate Eris gets from the other leads (mainly crown prince d#ckhead) to “stupidity”. It’s so easy to say “she should’ve done this! she should’ve done that!” but in my honest opinion and interpretation, her behaviour is directly related to trauma and FEAR. She could definitely do the things y’all say she should but she has no way of controlling the reactions or thoughts of the shitty main leads (tbh I can’t believe I’m defending a fictional character rn lmao but some ppl literally behave like this and it’s unfair to just link it to “just being dense”) especially with the hate boner CP has for eris, even if helena did say something would he even listen to her?
