The root problem here is not the ML, nor the FL. It's the damned in-laws and the Princess's brother. These greedy fucks need to calm the fuck down cause istg if Winter knows about how badly they treat our Princess, I'm sure he'd beat the crap out of them.

And for the main couple?

Those two just need a serious communication therapy. The FL kept too much from him, and the ML has an inferior issue that is blocking his mind from actually showing love for the princess.

Its understandable; how Winter works so hard even on their wedding day just for the Princess's comfort. His action is just how most parents are. Working everyday to their bones just so that their child could get a better education and a roof over their head.

Winter Blooming is not from a noble background. His mother is a low-born and he's captured, beaten, and abused since he's a child. Even got captured by a witch(?) as a hostage. Damn, even I would have anger issues, inferiority issues and have communication issues.

Look at yourself— some of us have toxic parents and look what we've become? We're also having some issues in some ways. Daddy, mommy, inferiority, superiority, trust issues, and some even have hero complex that love villains only.

There's a saying that "One's love language comes from what what they lack in their childhood." And winter lacks money, love and title.

That's why he worked so hard to gain MORE and MORE money for the princess. Because he thinks that the Princess will be embarrassed since she lost her title as well as money from the marriage. And that is the only form of love he knows.

Yes, I cried reading every single page. In a way I understand that the princess is desperate to die, but I just want you guys to see clearly who to blame, who's at fault, and most important of all— WHO IS THE ONE THAT IS CREATING ALL THESE PROBLEMS.
