right lmfao, a lot of authors typically drag out the ex-of-ML-wants-revenge arc (not that it's a bad thing lol)
Facts. I pretty much just like how much more realistic it is. Random dude tried to jump an innocent dude in an alleyway, innocent dude defends himself, and random dude almost immediately gets caught and charged. There wasn’t a whole drawn out stalking/kidnapping plot.
I love how quickly that resolved as opposed to how other mangas would do it. It was super anti-climactic in the best way possible.
