He's such an obstinate brick wall, he's so frustrating, and he goes and tries to justify all his wrong doings by saying he did it all for her sake, because he loves her, but if he really loved her there's no way in hell he EVER would have treated her that way. He says he loves her, but any time she did or didn't do anything, he always jumped to Huge and horrible, condescending conclusions, assuming she was nothing but a bitchy princess who couldn't get down off her high-horse...and again, if he really loved her, he NEVER would have done that without at least trying to talk to her or see her or spend even a second of his time with her.
"Oh but I've done so much for her" yeah, well have you Mentioned any of that to her, or did you just assume she was a mind reader who would somehow magically know you had good intentions every time you neglected her or treated her like an insect.

Okey so winter is a basic brick wall. He doesn't care about violet and before someone says that's just a misunderstanding no it's not! Violet tried to communicate with him for two years and he turned her down over and over and over. Never bothered to look into her past or check up on her after basically letting maids now that she means nothing to him. He works for her -is load of crap. SHE BEGGED HIM TO GIVE HER TWO MINUTES ON A BANQUET AND WHAT DID HE DO? GLARE AND SHOO HER OFF. And you would think that a man with such a sad backstory would be able to identify abuse and neglect. But nooo his backstory makes him superior to her somehow and she just can't uDeRsTaNd him because she is a Princess.. poor winter am I right? Do I see his pain? Absolutely do I give a crap about it at the moment? Nope when was that happening to him again? What like 15 years ago? Don't get me wrong trauma stays with you and it is bad but that doesn't justify any bullshit treatment he pulled off with his wife he "loves" which we all know he doesn't. He doesn't do anything for her,he is just using her as an excuse to do shit. For me that man had no redempting qualities at all right now. He need super big character development because she deserves wayyyy more than whatever he is giving her. And yes I have read stories of ml and FL switching bodies and never have I seen such a brick wall. Have read shit tone of sad backstory jerk mls and right now he is one of the most frustrating ones.
