i mean tbh helena wasn’t in a situation to help eris at all. the prince doesn’t even treat her as a person bc if he did he wouldn’t do the things he does to helena such as force her to stop her job and go to banquets and such when she’s a commoner and he knows she cannot disobey him bc he is a prince and besides even tho i feel for the past eris and how hard it must’ve been to be invalidated she should have never taken any of that out on helena like 1.helena doesn’t have the position to help eris out and 2. would you want to help the person who has bullied and have you a horrible fear of the dark and tight spaces ? ik i wouldn’t
So she knew Eris was suffering under the pressure of her station and invalidation of her efforts and still did nothing to try and correct her indiscretions.
