how about “efforts never betray”? The way the protagonist is portrayed as a victim of child abuse is really deep and I like how the art style kind of melts with his thoughts and emotions. Also just when you think everything is going fine the ending really leaves you questioning EVERYTHING.

On a serious note not sure why I didn’t cry it made me emotional but not enough to cry for some reason not to blame my ass but yea maybe I read darker shit before?
