But she's 18 now. If she was 14, I can understand the parents also being punished for her actions, however, I would also think that her punishment would not be that severe since she is just 14 and we all know how hormonal 14 was for kids. But she's a grown adult oh, so why are her parents punished for what she did? I never liked that kind of policy that punishes the kids or the parents of the actions of others. Sometimes you just have to take sole responsibility. It's not the parents fault she threw the jewelry box at the maid. If she was 14 and she did Dad, I can see her being grounded or put on probation.
I mean i agree with you they shouldn't have been punished but this is just how things are in these types of stories. Technically what she did was treason so the whole family ends up paying the price. It sucks but she should've thought of the consequences. She just believed that he loved her and he wouldn't hurt her even if she did something wrong...which now we know isn't true. She was delusional and i feel bad for her parents for having to be punished because of what she did. Also idk if you know the real reason she got executed, it wasn't cause of the jewelry box. It was cause she helped a group of pirates kidnap the fl, she even told them about a secret passage, so treason.
Oh yeah. I saw that on YouTube. It's just that, the moment when the mother was begging to switch places with her. That's what my heart. That was so sad. Then her own sister had to execute her? my God it got me in the feels. Imagine having to execute your little sister? And imagine hearing your mother beg to take her place? I was like, really sad for them. They weren't bad people, also you could tell that the daughter just went crazy. I think she was looking her big sister and couldn't believe that her sister was going to do that to her. I was like, damn! This got really dark! I mean even darker.
