Wow that last chapter just made me hate Khaol all over again. What do you mean by letting him go!? You let him die! There’s a difference! It was only through Forrest’s will that he was able to coexist with the old god.
I just really don’t like how he sugar-coated giving up River’s life in exchange for his lover’s. His lover, mind you, that wanted peace and not be in that lifeless state. So Khaol is really just a selfish, piece of trash! Period.
