eh it's not superiority. It seemed like he might have had some internalized homophobia but honestly I can't blame him for lashing out cause what the nurse did was quite creepy and stalkerish. Then he probably felt regrets and jealousy cause their relationship was ruined and he realized he actually harbored some feelings for him too lol
I don't understand the math teacher, he said it's disgusting yet he still bother himself with them, man just got superiority complex
