I- he’s 24 now though. She needs to either go back to when she first left or they wait until she’s in her 20’s to get together. I skipped to the latest chapter after chapter 3 so idk if her ex is still around or not. Because I’m thinking that her dad and her ex swam after her but got swept away too. So it’s also possible that her ex lost the bracelet and Ezra picked it up. But like I said I skipped most of it so idk. :3

I think the parents blamed him so it makes sense that he doesnt know about stuff like the funeral. But Ezra could have told him about this as he also told gavin about Kala being found and the time travel
Just a theory, maybe her boyfriend gave up on finding her and threw or discarded the bracelet out of hopelessness then ezra just kept it?
