it is pretty freaking cringe and tbh i get why they picked the note guy since the other guy in the manga is underaged and it would have taken to much to push him to be of legal age for them to have romance
oh even tho it was cringe it was still very good more of like extremely embaressing cause u can feel how the MC is freaking out most of the time

in the live action the mc ended up with the guy who asked for his notes, kikuchi. There's a lot of changes hehe, its quite hard to watch since you'll feel a lot of secondhand embarrassment and a lot of cringe moments... its funny tho ¯_༼ ಥ ‿ ಥ ༽_/¯
