Hmm...if I remember correctly, that guy was one of the many slaves owned by Clea Reno. When the FL took over Clea's body, she freed all the slaves in and on her estate; she handed back that white-haired guy's slave contract, but he said he didn't want to leave or live without her (?) She said he should be free and do what he wants to, but he was very persistent about staying with her so she was like, "Fine, whatever..." and had him do work at the Reno estate-I think?
