I’m p sure the engagement between louise and simon was just for formality tho. While mc and ml’s engagement on the other hand, was never formalized. In fact it seemed more of an inside thing between ian and mc’s family?

Not sure abt this cause I don't remember everything, but I think the grandma is part of the scheme, like she tryina separate the ml and fl and engaging them both to someone else. Cause if she a commoner like you said, why would they suggest that thing? This is making me nervous.
Tbh, i don't understand why they all are okay with it, like ml and fl literally love each other and ml let his so get engaged to another? Simon said it was just formality and they can still break the engagement up, but why didn't he just flat out refuse the offer?(like, he couldn't do anything about it, but still has freedom to chose who he wants to be with?) I don't like the fact that she's getting engaged to another man, more so that that man likes her. Ml and fl is already engaged to each other and I don't like how the story is pairing the evil bitch and ml, and the fl and ml's best friend. It's like you're intentionally making ml's best friend be attached more then crush his heart, it's like you want the bitch and ml to get together. Ml and fl already like each other and I don't like how the story is making them like star crossed lovers, I just wanted them to be happy together. I feel bad for ml's best friend, but it's better to just reject someone flat out and not show them any more hope, because if you keep dragging it out, you're just gonna hurt him more when the time comes.
I have a bad feeling that even if fl and ml's best friend tried to break the engagement it won't happen, and the empress will make ml and bitch be engaged, I hope that doesn't happen because the only thing I wanted for them this whole time was be happy without interferance. I feel like someone's gonna threaten ml's best friend by saying she'll die like the previous queen again, and he'll either fall for it and turn evil or not, but his resolve would be shaken. Currently, I don't like how the story is going, but I'll wait for more updates.
