even if they did get back together it wouldn't work out regardless there's too much damage plus i can tell mc is totally has fallen for his boss he's just too scared to get his heart broken but anyways Mc and the ex getting back together doesn't make any sense

I know this will never happen but I'm a huge fan of breakup and makeup trope so I hope MC will ended up with the ex I hope that even if the ending would be Mc and black haired dude, the author decides to make an alternative ending like back to school to quench my thirst over the sunk ship
